Elected members of KPK Assembly take oath in National language

PESHAWAR: In Election 2013 newly elected members of Khybaer Paktunkhwa (KP) provincial Assembly took oath in National language. This is the 11th session of Khyber Paktunkhwa (KP) Assembly.

During the session out of 124 newly elected members, 123 members of the house  took aoth of their membership in Khybaer Paktunkhwa (KP) provincial Assembly.

Outgoing speaker Khyber Paktunkhwa (KP) Assembly Kiramatullah Khan administered the oath in urdu language to the newly-elected members.While the English and Pushto languages options were also provided.

Before the session, Speaker   of (KP) Kiramatullah congratulation the new elected member of  Khyber Paktunkhwa (KP) Assembly . He said that corruption has destroyed everything in the province, so the major party suffered due to the Ex government.

The KPK Speaker further said that the armed forces and the people sacrificed the most to nurture democracy.

In Election 2013 Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) won the highest number of 35 seats in Khyber Paktunkhwa. SO, PTI would hold the positions of chief minister and speaker in the province.

However  Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) had finalized the formation of government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, JI and QWP are to get three ministries each in Khyber Paktunkhwa

The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) announced it would sit on KP’s opposition benches.
