Pakistan managed to plant 7 lack Mangroves to set record

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has managed to set a new world record to plant about seven lacks mangrove plants at coastal area of Pakistan.  The activity started early in morning of Saturday, 22 June 2013, and three hundred volunteers of sindh forestry department took part to make a world record.

The commotion had been carried out under the Sindh Coastal Community Development Project, funded by Asian Development Bank loans and it will definitely help to improve the echo system and environment.

Previously the record was holed by India set the record in 2009 by planting 6, 11,137 plants in a day.
